About Osun Arts
In line with our policies, using our Participatory Combined Arts Projects, we offer presentations that aim to bring children and others in the community closer to African art and culture; giving them the opportunity to touch, use and interact with ceremonial art forms.

Our work had been possible only through much hard work and steadily increasing financial aid from a variety of sources. We always aim for full participation in all our plans and services. Our plans include:
Moremi Project

Exhibitions and festivals in America of works of all kinds by Artists from Africa and others.

Training projects in America in unique African art: Designs & symbols for textiles in batik or wax printing, traditional mat weaving, Adinkra & Kente weaving.

Workshops in African visual and performing arts, dances and drumming (especially traditional talking drumming).

Participatory multi-cultural arts projects for ages 6-14 in schools and community centres.

Promoting access to such events to provide equality of opportunity, and help prevent discrimination of any kind.

Proper documentation of works of African Artists collected throughout the world.

Osun Arts Foundation Incorporation aims to create awareness and appreciation of neglected African traditional Arts and Culture, and to encourage an understanding of this within America's vibrant multi-cultural society. The Osun Arts Foundation is a non-profit making organization in America, incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia with control number 08067677.

We organise participatory combined arts workshops, in schools community and arts centres, as well as taking a performance on tour each year. Most people in the West only get to view African treasures in the glass cabinets of museums, where they are treated as past history.
